General Building & Renovations

General building work and full-house renovations, from individual rooms to wider property updates.

What to send first

  • The property location
  • Which rooms or areas you want to change
  • Any drawings or plans you already have

Renovation work covers anything from updating a single room to refurbishing a whole house. On a full refurbishment we usually start with the strip-out, taking rooms back to bare walls and clearing the waste, then carry out any building repairs, re-plaster walls and ceilings, and bring in the kitchen, bathroom and plumbing changes the job needs. Flooring and carpets go down at the end, once the messy work is done.

The stairwell in our gallery shows one whole-house refurbishment at the plastering stage and again once it was finished. We also take on general building jobs on their own, such as repairing or rebuilding garden and boundary walls. On one recent job, a damaged wall was made safe and rebuilt using the existing bricks so the repair blended in.

To scope a project, we come and look at each area you want changing and agree the order of work with you, so you know what happens when.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you take on a whole-house refurbishment?
Yes. We handle the strip-out, building repairs, plastering, kitchen, bathroom and plumbing work, and plan the order so one stage follows the next without gaps.
Do you repair garden and boundary walls?
Yes. We make damaged walls safe, rebuild piers and sections, and reuse the existing bricks where they are sound so the repair matches.
Can I live in the house during the work?
Often yes, depending on how much of the house is being done at once. We talk this through when we plan the job.
Do you work outside Lowestoft?
Yes, we cover Lowestoft and anywhere within 30 miles of it.
